December 28, a delegation from Dhurakij Pundit University headed by Mr. Wang Changming, Dean of CAIC, Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) visited HGU.
During the visit, the two parties had deep discussion and reached extensive agreements on teachers exchange, research cooperation, short-term students exchange and overseas study. Liao Yibin and Wang Changming, on behalf of HGU and DPU, respectively, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Founded in 1986 and formerly known as Dhurakij Pundit College, DPU is a private university with 21600 students and 1800 faculty and staff. DPU, with 14 colleges and 7 research centers, has 60 bachelor degree programs, 19 master degree programs and 6 doctor degree programs. DPUCAIC, a college affiliating to DPU, is approved by the Ministry of Education of Thailand and recruits overseas students from China and ASEAN. The courses are mainly taught in Chinese. The programs they now offer include: bachelor degree in Business Administration, Fine Arts, Media; master degree in Business Administration, Education; doctor degree in Business Administration and Education.
