Invited by Troy University and New Jersey City University, a delegation, headed by Liu Yaohui, the Vice-President of Student Affairs, visited the U.S. from September 18th to 23rd.
First, the delegation visited New Jersey City University and warmly welcomed by its Vice-President Daniel Julius and its Director of International Division Graig Katz. The two sides signed a cooperation framework agreement and a students exchanging agreement, sharing views on the comprehensive exchange and cooperation between the two universities. During the visit, the delegation also went to the Business School located in the city center of Jersey and the Confucius Institute.
After that, the delegation went direct to Troy University. The two parts shared insights on the internationalization of education, international cooperation and the development of universities. They also visited the Business School, met with Prof. Niu Xutong, the director of Surveying and Geomatics Sciences Program and went to the Confucius Institute as well. The Surveying and Geomatics Sciences program of Troy University ranks top 10 in the U.S.
