Thanks to the recommendation of prof. Ji Qiang, in early 2017, prof. Luo Zhexi finally agreed to accept our invitation as a visiting professor.
Prof. Luo Zhexi is a paleontologist with an international reputation. He did his bachelor degree in paleontology in Nanjing University from 1978 to 1982. He studies in University of California, Berkeley from 1983-1989 and achieved his Ph.D there. He worked as an assistant professor in College of Charleston and an associate research fellow in Carnegie Museum of Natural History. He is now a professor in the University of Chicago. He has published over 10 articles, as the first author, in journals such asNature and Science.
