On August 10, 2017, a team composed by Meng Qingjin research group from Beijing Natural Museum, Ji Qiang research group from HGU and Luo Zhexi research group from the University of Chicago published two articles,New Evidence for Mammaliaform Ear Evolution and Feeding Adaptation in a Jurassic EcosystemandNew Gliding Mammaliaforms from the Jurassic,in the world famous research journal,Nature. Their discoveries are of great scientific value.
Dr. Ji Qiang is a distinguished professor at HGU as well as a chief scientist in Stratigraphy and Paleontology. Dr. Luo Zhexi is a professior at the University of Chicago, a world renowned expert in Mesozoic mammal and also a guest professor at our university. This is the first time for HGU faculties to publish articles inNatureand it is rare for scientists to publish two articles inNatureat the same time.
