On February 24, Toporkov, the counselor of Russian Ambassador to China visited our university. Wang Fengming, the president of HGU, and Zhang Xiaoping, the vice-president, received his delegation and gave a brief introduction of the history, characteristic, majors and international cooperation of our university. Mr. Toporkov spoke highly of the prospect of our university and expressed his willing to facilitate the collaboration between us and Moscow State University of Geological Exploration. During the meeting, the two sides had a serious discussion on the fields, modes and methods of the collaboration in the future.
After the meeting, Mr. Toporkov visited HGU Geo-Science Museum and deepened his expression on our university, laying a foundation for future cooperation and communication.
